The MAX IV Laboratory is a Swedish national laboratory for nuclear physics, accelerator physics and research with the help of synchrotron light. The Laboratory, which is located in the Brunnshög area at the Northern outskirts of Lund, southern Sweden, is funded by Lund University, the Swedish Research Council and Region Skåne. The constructions started in 2010, and the MAX IV laboratory was inaugurated on June 21 2016.
